Quiet Day 2/25/17


Quiet day is the day to lower noise level. It originally started as a day in the Anglican church to focus on special devotions, meditations, and instructions. Quiet time helps lowering stress, blood pressure, relaxes the body, and lowering heart rate. It has also helped free the mind making it more creative and focused. Being quiet also boosts the immune system decreases the pain that people feel.

Here are some activities that you can do on Quiet day, some activities include meditation, nature walking, working in a quiet room, eating in silence, breathing , relaxation of the body and taking a retreat.
